This event includes screening interviews conducted on-site by the employer’s hiring team. Candidates moving forward may be invited for a final interview at a later date.

Position Overview
A respected local recycling and sustainability-focused organization is seeking a permanent Part-Time Office Manager (In-person/on site – Maple Ridge)
Salary: $30–$32/hour (based on experience)
Hours: approx 24 hrs/week with the potential to become full-time
Schedule: Part-time, ideal for individuals seeking flexible work hours
Work Environment: Professional, community-centered nonprofit setting

Required Skills & Experience

  • Minimum 4 years of bookkeeping experience
  • Strong proficiency with QuickBooks and Sage accounting systems
  • Experience with WordPress
  • General office administration and executive support experience
  • Strong digital file management and organizational skills
  • Excellent written and verbal communication abilities
  • High professionalism and discretion
  • Preferred Education/Experience:
  • Post-secondary training in bookkeeping, accounting, or business
  • Experience as an Office Manager, Office Coordinator, or Executive Assistant
  • Familiarity with ADP payroll
  • Ability to manage digital and physical records
  • Ability to oversee office equipment, systems, and vendors
  • Note: A criminal record check will be required.

Job Responsibilities:
The Office Manager will be responsible for:

  • Managing accounts receivable/payable, general ledger entries, trial balance prep, and reconciliations
  • Monthly reconciliation of payables, receivables, program expenses, fixed assets, tax reports, payroll, and WCB
  • Organizing physical and digital records; ensuring compliance with retention guidelines
  • Maintaining office equipment and administrative systems
  • Providing executive-level administrative support
