WorkBC Maple Ridge Partnership with Sto:lo Aboriginal Skills & Employment Training (SASET)

WorkBC Maple Ridge is proud to announce a new partnership with Sto:lo Aboriginal Skills & Employment Training (SASET). As part of this collaboration, a SASET Career Coach will be available at the WorkBC Offices to offer tailored employment and training support to better serve our Indigenous community.

About SASET

SASET’s employment and training funding is targeted to support unemployed or underemployed Indigenous individuals by helping them overcome barriers and achieve sustainable employment.

  • Training and skills development
  • Essential skills and vocational supports (up to one year of training, including tuition, books, and related costs)
  • Employer-focused programs such as Targeted Wage Subsidies and Student Employment Programs
