This series of workshops is for individuals interested in career exploration. Career and occupational assessments, career planning, goal setting, labour market research and job search are some of the topics covered by the workshops. The series is delivered over one week; participants attend a five hour workshop each day. In addition to the workshops, participants will be supported by a Career Coach.
This series of workshops is for individuals who are looking only for the essentials to conduct a job search. Workshop topics include identifying skills, resume and cover letter development, obtaining references, communication, self-marketing, accessing the Hidden Job Market, informational interviews, networking and job maintenance strategies. Workshops are delivered over one week; participants attend a five hour workshop each day. In addition to the workshops, participants will be supported by a Career Coach.
This workshop is for individuals considering skills training. This workshop assist individuals the readiness necessary to build and complete a skills development application. Individuals will research and develop a skills plan to support the career options they identified within The Discovery of Work Options workshop series. Workshop is delivered in 1 day; participants attend a six hour workshop each day. In addition to the workshops, participants will be supported by a Career Coach.

‘Ageless Ambitions’ is a fun filled learning experience for seasoned citizens who can bring flavour & spice to the workplace!
It’s a seminar style week-long event loaded with interesting, eye-opening activities that will motivate and invigorate your passion and purpose to encourage you to market yourself to help you move forward in your work search!
Topics Include the Following: Myths about ageism, transferable skills, understanding current skill sets, personality dimensions, new ways to look for opportunities, understanding what exactly is the type of work that you are looking for, understanding the many opportunities that are available, experience is important, exploring your values and opportunities, using improv techniques to excel at interviews.
The practise interview skills workshop provides individuals with the experience to learn about what skills are required to have a successful interview, and what interviewers are generally looking for in a candidate. You will have the opportunity to practise your responses and receive real time feedback. After this workshop, you will be better prepared to answer interview questions and have a better understanding at building rapport with the interviewer. These can be arranged with our Resource Centre Advisor.
This program offers individualized and evidence-based therapy for adults wishing to address a wide variety of life concerns, including depression, anxiety, panic, and difficulties associated with major life changes.

Pathways to Education: Exploring Options
This interactive workshop will assist participants to plan for education based on their career aspirations. Participants will explore a range of educational options and gain insight into the importance of research and the need to evaluate one’s personal circumstances when education planning.
Education R & D: Chart Your Path
In Education R & D, participants will be guided through hands-on research to explore educational options and supports. You will develop a personalized plan that aligns with your unique circumstances, helping to set the foundation for educational success.
This program is delivered in partnership with School District 42 and is for Grade 13 students with disabilities. A wide range of topics are covered to support participants to prepare for and enter the workforce. It is a 15 week program is offered on Fridays, full-day.
This program is for individuals 55+ years old who are considering launching a consulting practice, looking for a new job, wanting to start a home-based business or explore gig jobs. The program is five weeks full-time in the classroom followed by eight weeks of small group sessions and individual assistance. Groups are beginning soon!
